Matthew is an executive compensation professional who has supported both public and private clients on a variety of mandates, including executive and director compensation, corporate governance, and incentive plan design. Matthew also has experience with special compensation situations such as CEO transitions, Initial Public Offerings, and Mergers & Acquisitions. Matthew’s experience spans across a range of industries, including energy, mining, and utilities.

Matthew is a CFA charter holder and graduated with distinction from the University of Alberta with a major in Finance and minor in Business Economics and Law. In his final two years of his undergraduate studies, Matthew was selected for the Program for Research and Investment Management Excellence (PRIME), a student-run portfolio management program at the University of Alberta, through which he gained experience with portfolio management, equity research, and financial modelling.
